Privacy policy

DIMSX is a site-survey application (Android and web). This policy explains what data it handles, why, where it is stored and how you can exercise your rights, under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

Your surveys stay with you

What you capture in DIMSX —project names, client details you type (name, phone, email, address), photos, measurements, notes, audio and attachments— is stored on your phone or, on the web platform, in your browser. It does not leave it unless you use one of the optional features described below. We do not sell, rent or use your data for advertising.

Phone permissions

• Camera: to take photos of surfaces and notes.
• Microphone: for measurement dictation and audio notes, only while you use them.
• Location: to save the site's address or coordinates when you ask for it.
• Contacts: to pick the client from your address book; only the contact you choose is copied.
• Bluetooth: to receive measurements from a laser meter.
• Files: to import drawings, fonts and backups, and to save what you export.

You can deny or withdraw any of these permissions; the feature that uses it stops being available.

Optional features that do send data

• Team cloud: if you create or join a team, the surveys you upload (with their photos and files) are stored on our servers, hosted with Supabase, so team members can see them.
• Client link: the PDF report is stored in the cloud and shared with a link that expires after 30 days and that you can revoke.
• AI assistant: if you turn it on, the photo and measurements of the area you review are sent to our server and to Anthropic's service (Claude) only to produce the review or detection. Anthropic does not use that data to train its models.
• Google Drive: if you connect it, the app saves its backups to your own Drive and can only see the files it created.

This website

dimsx.xyz uses no cookies or analytics. It is served by Cloudflare, which logs technical data for each visit (IP address, browser) to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. If you choose the dark theme, it is remembered only in your browser.

How long data is kept

On your phone or browser, until you delete it (deleted items stay 30 days in the trash). In the team cloud, while you belong to the team or until you ask for deletion. Client links are deleted when they expire or are revoked.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to its processing or withdraw your consent by writing to [contact email] with your name, the team or account concerned and your request. We reply within 20 business days.

Security

Communication with our servers is encrypted (HTTPS) and access to a team's data is limited to its members.

Children

DIMSX is a work tool and is not directed at minors.

Changes to this policy

If the way we handle your data changes, we will update this policy and its date on this same page.
